From Dior to Gucci and Prada, luxury brands and retailers usually head straight to the Strip to showcase new goods. But homegrown entrepreneurs with tight budgets are finding their place in Vegas – farther west at Downtown Summerlin – where fledgling retailers can even do a test run with their own pop-up.
That’s where Christina Ivanov, owner of Joeleene, first ventured into pop-ups. Her business was once strictly an e-commerce business selling women's clothing and accessories – with the occasional vendor stint at local fairs and festivals. But early this year she learned a Downtown Summerlin space was vacant and jumped at the opportunity to open a temporary shop in May.

WHO ARE WE?
Joeleene is a Las Vegas locally mother-daughter venture. Maria Serna and Christina Ivanov have always had an eye for style, color and balance when it comes to fashion. They are passionate about finding what works best on each individual. “As personal stylist, we understand the different body types and knows how to bring forth balance and glamour with each outfit. Our goal is to focus on inner beauty and enhance that beauty on the outside with basic style elements.”
Joeleene started in 2015 as Naked Fashion, an Online and pop-up shop. We focused on promoting our online store through hosting truck shows at events throughout the city and have our friends and clients host fashion parties in their homes. There we could work individually with clients to style them from head to toe.
In 2017 we opened our first Brick & Mortar Store in Downtown Summerlin Las Vegas. Here we focused on establishing the brand and growing our clientele. Our focus is still the customer experience! From providing a VIP experience for every customer, to having an amazing selection of fashion and accessories at great quality and Value. This is the Joeleene Brand!

PHILANTHROPY
For our first time partnering with a local charity we decided to Partner with Safe Nest. As it is part of our mission to empower Women we love the idea of partnering with a charity that helps families and especially Women in domestic violence situations.
Safe Nest's mission is to be the leading advocate in breaking the pattern of domestic violence by providing confidential and comprehensive services including shelter, counseling, advocacy and prevention.
